Aotea Villa > Te Puke

Te Puke is at the heart of New Zealand's kiwifruit industry.

Located on State Highway 2, it is 23 kms from Tauranga and the Mount and 56 kms from Rotorua.

The town is reknown for its stunning Puriri Trees on its main street, planted in 1915 to recognise the sacrifices made by local servicemen overseas.

Highlights of the year include the annual Fiesta in the Park, the month long Kiwifruit Festival, the Fairhaven School Fireworks Display, the Te Ranga School Possum Hunt and the Jelicoe Street Christmas Parade.
